Tips

Edit any page just by clicking on the Edit link at the top or bottom of the page. You won't mess anything up if you just avoid the [[ and ]] stuff at first. Besides, while editing a page, the bottom of the page has hints for everything you can do.

Some pages have links like this: thing?. It simply means that someone wants to make a new page for "thing", but hasn't done it yet. At that point, anyone can volunteer to make the "thing" page by clicking on the "?". (Click "Preview" and scroll to the bottom of the page to view your changes, and remember to click "Save" at the end to publish your changes).

Let's say you want to make your own thing?. Well, during editing, you can take any word and put [[ and ]] around it. That word becomes a link for a candidate new page. When you save your edits, that word turns blue and has a ? next to it. Now, you or anyone else can click on the ? and create a new page for that link.

And, believe it or not, that's all you need to know to do basic editing!
